- Jupiter
Clear skies, cool (4 deg.), seeing 4/10. Setup telescope, polar aligned using
finderscope only and left to cool. Used AstroSnap software
to drive the ToUCam Pro to capture 161 separate BMP files at f20. Processed
in Registax using FFT(15), QF(5), Dyadic 2:2(16.4), 3:4(3.6),
5:16(1), 6:32 (0.9), Gamma 1, C:100, B:0. Resulting image colour balanced
in Photoshop.

- Saturn
Clear skies, cool (3 deg.), seeing 4/10. Setup telescope, polar aligned
using finderscope only and left to cool. Due to my rather inaccurate
polar alignment this meant the target drifted out of view after about
3 mins but that was
more than enough time to capture a series of frames. Used AstroSnap software to
drive the ToUCam Pro to capture 480 separate BMP files at f20. (The
target tracking in Astrosnap means you can crop the image capture area
to make the captured files smaller and processing slightly quicker.)
Opened the 480 BMPs into Registax and
processed using FFT(25), QF(15), Dyadic 2:2(8.2), 4:8(1), 5:16(1.4),
Gamma 0.7, C:100, B:11. Resulting image slightly sharpened and
colour balanced in Photoshop.
